Nelson Ander Talley was born on December 23, 1939 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late William Ander and Anna Louise Stambridge Talley.

In February of 1959, he was united in marriage to Geraldine Brumley, who survives.

Mr. Talley worked as a manager at Hughes Worm Ranch and was a member of Eureka Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. During his younger years, he worked in New York and Chicago, Illinois. Nelson loved training and breeding dogs and loved to buy, sell, and trade guns.

Nelson Ander Talley departed this life on September 16, 2021 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 81 years, 8 months, and 24 days.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Brumley Talley of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Connie Pinson of Savannah, Tennessee and Karen Warren of Waynesboro, Tennessee; sons, Nelson Ray Talley of Savannah, Tennessee and Brandon Talley of Nashville, Tennessee; sisters, Faye Franks and Vicki Melson, both of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Pat Talley, Jerry Talley, and David Talley, all of Savannah, Tennessee; step mother, Myrl Talley of Savannah, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and nieces, Diane Schmidt and Teresa Walters.

In addition to his parents, Nelson was preceded in death by his sisters, Edith Blackwell, Helen Harville, Carol Moncher, and Betty Talley; brothers, Bobby Talley and Charles Talley; and granddaughter, Lily Talley.
