KILLEN-The Lauderdale County sheriff’s Office issued a BOLO for a suspect wanted for attempted murder. This suspect is deemed armed and dangerous contact the Lauderdale County sheriff’s Office at 256.760.5757 with information pertaining to this case:
“The Lauderdale County Sheriffs Department responded to 380 County Road 377 Killen, Alabama on 9.11.2021 to the reportof a male with a gun shot wound. Deputies arrived and learned that Victor Jerome Carver Ill had been shot. A crime scene was established at 380 County Road 377 Killen, Alabama the home of Kelby Dwight Pettus.
Jerome Carver Ill was flown form the scene for medical treatment and is expected to make a full recovery. Through the course of the investigation it was determined that Kelby Dwight Pettus shot Jerome Carver Ill during the course of an argument. An attempted murder arrest warrant has been issued for Kelby Dwight Pettus and he is to be considered armed and dangerous.
