Steve Carter of Albertville passed away September 7, 2021. He was 59 years old. He was born on March 31, 1962. He was born and raised in Albertville and graduated from Albertville High School in 1980. He entered the United States Air Force and served for two years. He moved back to Albertville and raised his son and daughter there. He was a devoted son, brother, father, and “Pops” to his 7 grandchildren.
Steve is survived by his mother, Rhena Carter, his sons, Chris Carter and Jonathan Craig (Nikita), and daughter, Lindsay Alford (Chris); grandchildren, Micaela Carter, Riannah Alford, Hunter Alford, Ensleigh Alford, Remmie Alford, Hoyt Alford, and Autumn Craig; brother, Michael Carter (Cathy); sister, Sheila Carroll; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Carter.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 5-7pm in the chapel at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11am in the chapel at Adams Brown with Quinton Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.
