Karen Lynn Wilson, age 59, of Madison, TN, went on to be with the Lord on August 30, 2021. Karen was born on February 25, 1962, in Liberty, KY and grew up in Russell Springs, KY. Karen is survived by brother, Beckham (Terrie) Wilson; two nieces, Abigail and Alexandra; two aunts, Eunice Thomas and Ramona Thornton; several cousins and many friends. Karen was preceded in death by parents, Merwyn and Hazel Gossage Wilson and sister, Kathie Wilson. Karen knew the Lord as her Savior and was passionate about her faith, and helping others. She was an active member of Madison First Baptist Church, where she faithfully worked in the Elevate Café ministry, the Apartment Outreach ministry, Parents Night Out and Vacation Bible School. In addition, she worked with community organizations such as Project Connect Nashville, Celebrate Recovery at the Madison Campus Seventh Day Adventist Church where she also led in organizing an angel tree project for children of prisoners, The Building Healthy Families Program of Lutheran Social Services, Metro Development and Housing Agency Cheatham Place, and St. Paul’s Second Harvest Food Bank and Grief Share. Karen lived her life loving God and loving others well. We will miss her greatly, but we are grateful to God our Father that she is now completely healed and in the presence of Jesus because she placed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Jesus said unto her, “I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”John 11:25 – KJV. Celebration of Life Service to be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 2:00 pm, at Madison First Baptist Church, Madison, TN.
