Grady Charlene Dodd, age 84, of Haleyville, passed away on Wednesday, September 01, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center.
Charlene was the family rock, a caregiver who always looked out for everyone. She was one of the strongest & most selfless women around. She loved her sons, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Saying she will be missed is an understatement.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 05, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral starting at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
She is preceded in death by the father of her children, Ulysses Dodd; children, Bobby Wayne Dodd, George Anthony Dodd, Davy Dodd; her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Loyd Dodd (Susan), Terry Dodd (Samantha); grandchildren, Jason Dodd (fiancé, Jessica), Nicholas Dodd, Jamie Dodd Stults, Anthony Dodd, Dillion Dodd; great grandchildren, Kourtney, Bradon, Tristan, Logan, Brodie, Blake, Madison, Hailey, Ava Mae, Dakota Carson, Shane & Brantley Gillilan; brother, Robert Thomas Nelson; and several nieces & nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
