SHEFFIELD-The Slag at Furnace Hill will be canceling upcoming shows due to the COVID uptick in the area. According to a spokesperson from The Slag this closing is for safety sake of concert goers and employees alike. This closing will start immediately.
From all we have heard here at QCDNews construction on the venue will continue with no immediate time set for reopening.

“Because of concerns about safely holding events in the current environment, concerts at The Slag have been suspended until further notice. Thank you for your support during this time. We can’t wait to continue to bring music to The Shoals when it is safe to do so!”
