Mrs. Barbara Gail Waddell of Arab, Alabama; passed away – August 17, 2021 at the age of 75 years, at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Waddell was born on May 10, 1946 in Marshall County, AL to Evard Phillips and Ellavee Holaway. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and community. She was a member of Liberty Church.
Mrs. Waddell leaves behind to celebrate her life and legacy; a loving husband, David E. Waddell; sons; Jeff Waddell (Melenda), Jesse Waddell (Mary), daughters; Kathy Kelley (Jason), Elizabeth; brother, Sammy Phillips (Patsy); twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Waddell is preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers include Ethan Waddell, Nathan Waddell, Seth Waddell, Lee Schirmer, Jesse Waddell and Ryan Moore. Honorary pallbearers; Shawn Kelley, Tony Kelley, Jason Kelley and Patterson Highsmith.
Visitation will be at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021 prior to service beginning at 2:00 PM with Brother Keith Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at New Canaan Cemetery.
