Funeral Service for Steve Henderson Barbee, age 75 of Cullman, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Chambers officiating; burial at Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Barbee passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his residence. He was born, May 09, 1946 to Henderson Elzie and Ola Hunter Barbee.
He was a dedicated fireman for Cullman Fire and Rescue for 40 years, as well as part time at RC Cola and Pennington Seed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mom, Laverne Wooten Barbee; brothers, Allen and Erby Barbee; sister, Pat Wood; brothers-in-love, Brentice Dover, Jerry Wood, Dean Perkins and Larry Woody.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Becky Brock Barbee; son, Paul (Angie) Barbee; daughter, Kim (Gary) Caudle; grandchildren, Malorie (Jeremy) Pitts, J.T. Barbee, Brylee Caudle and Olivia Barbee; great grandchild Jaicee Pitts; sisters, Sandra Dover, Wanda Woody, Diane (Jimmy) Marty, Pam Perkins and Gail Wright; brother, Randy Wooten; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
