Roy Jackson Mather, 62 of Russellville, entered into rest on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Keller Landing in Tuscumbia.
Roy was born on February 17, 1959 in Haleyville, Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 9:30am–10:30am at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11am at Houston Congregational Cemetery in Houston, Alabama. Brother James Garrison officiating.
Roy is survived by his mother, Gladys Mather; son, Troy Mather (Marlena); daughter, Latina Kelly (Derrick); brothers: Tom Mather (Serena), Billy Mather (Michelle) and Phillip Mather (Ashley); sisters: Jan Place, Regina Richie, Tammy Hutcheson (Jeff), Rhonda Presley (Ernie) and Tina Odem (Santwan); and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Mather and his brother, Ray Mather.
