Charles David Brannon, 73, of Addison entered into rest on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at UAB Hospital.
Mr. Brannon was born June 5, 1948 in Cullman, Alabama. Charles was a hardworking farmer who loved his family. He grew vegetables and peaches and ran a fruit stand for years. Charles also raised cows and honey bees. He was looking forward to seeing his son Dave again in Heaven.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at Addison First Baptist Church, where services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11 am. Brother Michael Turner and Brother Donnie Carroll will officiate. Burial will follow in Sardis No. 2 Baptist Church Cemetery in Addison, Alabama.
Charles is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathy Rodgers Brannon; daughter, Allison Brannon Tuggle and her husband, Shane; grandsons, Ty Michael Tuggle and David Brannon Tuggle and brother, Ricky Brannon and his wife, Brenda.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Scott Brannon; brother, Billy Brannon; sister, Ann Brannon Powell and parents, Julus and Nellie Brannon.
