Chaplin Wayland Marshall Hartsfield , age 79 of Leoma, TN passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a native of Lawrence Co, TN, a retired Lt. Col in the United States Air Force serving in Desert Storm, a southern baptist pastor for 20 years prior to his military service, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of Ramah Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Sunday August 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Bro. Mark Nelson will be officiating. Burial will follow in Center Point Methodist Cemetery with military honors presented at the graveside. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
