Virgie Malone Waddle, 87, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Mississippi and was a factory worker for more than twenty years. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ, Red Bay, AL.
Services will be Wednesday, August 11, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Jerry Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by three daughters – Lynn Hardin (Anthony), Nancy Waddle (Christy) and Charlotte Webb (Andy); three grandchildren – P.J. Cleveland (Nikki), Gentry Cleveland (Stephanie) and Loni Crane Duffie (Joshua); thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister – Rachel Bruton (Elton) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dean Waddle, her parents, E.C. and Lucy James Malone; seven brothers and five sisters.
Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS
