Frances Virginia Corbin, age 74, of Birmingham AL, passed away at Magnolia Ridge in Gardendale, AL, on Thursday, August 5, 2021.
Ms. Corbin was born October 27, 1946 in Blount Count, AL to the late Hoyt King and Bessie Mae Gross King.
Ms. Corbin spent her life working at home taking care of her family. She loved playing cards, reading, and puzzle books. Most of all she loved her family and loved to spend time with them, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Corbin is survived by her son, Jerry LaWayne Corbin; daughter, Charlotte Landefeld; brother, Roger Dale King; sisters, Linda Dunn, Kathleen Franklin (Floyd), Liz Lesley, Janice Jones; grandchildren, Kayla Marie Tennyson, Jenna Breann Corbin; great grandchildren, Jaelynn Tennyson, Caleigh Tennyson, Cohen Tennyson, Cody Corbin, Raelynn Corbin, Kaden Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Bessie Mae Gross King; husband, James Edward Corbin; brother, Robert King; sisters, Martha King, Doris Murphree, Patricia Williams.
A visitation will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. A service will follow at 3:00 pm.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Corbin are Blake Tennyson, Jimmy Williams, Jim Franklin, Heath Johnson, Geneva Yerby, Julie Jolley.
