Leslie Wayne Myers, age 70 of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on October 31, 1950, to the late Leslie and Mildred (Perry) Myers. Leslie served his country in the United States Navy and until his retirement had been employed as a truck driver. He always enjoyed working and was a hard worker. He was an avid Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans Football fan and enjoyed watching old westerns. Leslie’s family will miss his wonderful sense of humor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Myers; and sister, Janet Myers. Leslie is survived by his loving children, Leslie Lynette Myers and Jeremy (Alicia) Myers; step-grandchildren, Kaylee May and Kevin May; step-great-grandson, Daniel Owens; and beloved dog, Henry. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 7, 2021, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
