James Dewalt Willis, 76 of the Ruth Community passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at his residence. Dewalt was born June 21, 1945, in Arab the son of Carlton Willis and Elzorah Light Willis. He was a graduate of Arab High School Class of 1965. Shortly there after he enlisted in the US Marine Corps serving his county with honor and courage. He worked for the city of Arab in many areas and was a member of the Ruth Baptist Church.
He is survived by his Wife: Anoise Robinson Willis; Children: Stacey (Kelly) Parker, Rodney (Amy) Willis and Scott (Kari) Willis; Ten Grandchildren; Sister: Malinda Howard; Sister-in-law: Susan Frame. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Carlton & Elzorah Willis, Brother: Gary Willis.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Gober Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
