Memorial Service for William Richard “Bill” Calvert, 73, of Cullman will be 12 Noon, Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Welti Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 10-12 am prior to the service. The interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Dr. John Garrison will officiate the service.

Bill was born May 19, 1948 to Everett William & Jimmie Lou Clingan Calvert. He passed from this life on August 5, 2021 at his residence surrounded by family. He spent 20 years as a custodian at West Elementary School with the Cullman City Board of Education System. Bill served his country in the Army, loved wood working and Alabama Football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Jimmy Lou Calvert and two infant brothers, Teddy and Junior.
Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Hilda Mosteller Calvert; daughter, Jennifer Arrington and her husband Scottie; granddaughter, Brittany Arrington; grandson, Blake Arrington; great-granddaughter, Emmalyn Arrington; son, Clifford Calvert; brothers, Frank Calvert, Dennis (Lisa) Calvert; sister, Joyce (Craig) McConnell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
