Martha Lee Hill, age 79 passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at her home in Winchester. Martha was born September 11, 1941 in Winchester to the late George and Pauline Simpson Grant. Martha graduated from Franklin County High School in 1959, then studied at Draughons Practical Business College in Nashville. Martha had her own businesses as a caterer and colorist advisor. Martha worked in respiratory therapy at Harton Hospital for several years. She then joined the office staff of Tullahoma Vision Associates from which she retired after thirty-three years. Martha was the senior member of the administrative and laboratory staff at Tullahoma Vision Associates as well as an assistant to the firm’s principals, first Dr. Frank Semmes and later Dr. Shawn McBride. Martha was a member of the United Methodist Church. Martha is survived by her son, Grant (Darla) Hill and granddaughters, Emily Grace Hill and Addyson Faith Hill; her brother, Glenn (Janice) Grant and Charles Clardy, her husband of twenty-nine years; niece, Shelly (Jeff); great-nephew, Michael; great-niece, Abby (John); and great-great-nephew and niece, Nolan and Tessa. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. James Clardy officiating.
