Rodney Lynn Redmill, 74, of Jasper, AL passed away at his home on July 27, 2021.
He was born September 8, 1946 to Horace and Ivalee (Ray) Redmill of Jasper, AL. He was a proud graduate of Walker County High School, class of 1964. He was married to his loving wife of 28 years, Gail Poe Redmill. His father started Redmill Plumbing Company in 1952, Rodney took over ownership after his father retired and ran the family business until his retirement in 2018.
Rodney is survived by his wife Gail; brothers Jerry Redmill (Reidie) and John Redmill (Bonnie); Daughters Monica Stewart (Bo) and Adrienne Robinson; Son Kaylor Hodges; Grandchildren Cody and Dacy Robinson and Conner and Spencer Stewart; nephews Griff Redmill (Gelia), Patrick Redmill (Monika), Niece Beth Richardson (Adam); great-nephews and nieces: Langley Redmill, Jack Redmill, Ann Bailey Redmill, Anna Liz Richardson, Reid Richardson, and Julian Redmill.
Rodney loved his family and the community of Jasper. He requested no funeral services after his death, instead he chose to have a time of remembrance and fellowship with his family before he passed.
