Vera Marie Craig Hays, 87 of Athens, passed away on Monday, August 2nd, 2021, at Madison Hospital. Mrs. Hays was born on May 25th, 1934, to Floyd P. Norris and Pearl M. Edwards Norris.
Mrs. Hays is survived by her daughter Sherry Craig Retzler; son Brian K. Craig; and granddaughters Autumn Lorenz Peterson, Ramona Lynn Hieger, and Stephanie Lee Michael.
Preceded in death by her parents; and husband Clarence Edgar Hays.
A graveside service for Mrs. Hays will be Saturday, August 7th, 2021, at 2:00pm at New Salem Cemetery.
