July 31, 1968 ~ July 17, 2021 (age 52)
On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Kristy Ochoa, loving mother, grandmother, and daughter passed away at the age of 52. Kristy was a quiet woman who had an immense love for her family. She found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, adored animals, and had a great faith in Jesus. She was a Baptist.
Kristy was preceded in death by her father, Noel “Sonny” Smith and a sister, Vicky Suzanne Smith.
She is survived by her children: Brittany Smith and Casey Ochoa; Grandchildren: Brayden Smith, Trenton, Allie and Ayla Williamson, Nevaeh and Ava Simon; Mother, Doris Smith; Sister, Cindy Maples; special niece, Alisha Maples; a nephew and 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews; Ex-husband, Jose Ochoa; and Ex-son-in-law, Marcus Williamson; and Special dog, Chika.
The family will have a memorial service on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Hampton Cove Funeral Home in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama. The service will be officiated by Chris Smith. There will be no graveside service.
