Jeffrey Allen Boyd, 58, of Athens, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 22, at 1 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Reaves, Michael Simpson.
Mr. Boyd was born July 20, 1962 in Morgan County to Bobby Glen Boyd and Shelvie Jean Blankenship Boyd. He is preceded in death by his mother.
He was a member of O’Neal Church of Christ. Mr. Boyd was the owner of Action Glass & Mirror for over 20 years. He was an avid drag racing fan, and he was raised on the Warner Robins Dragway in Warner Robins, GA.
Survivors include, his parents, Bobby Glen and Dot Boyd of Warner Robins, GA; one sister, Karen Joan Mullins of Cullman, AL; one niece, Brooke Simpson of Ardmore, AL; one nephew, Mitchell Reaves, of Chelsea, AL; his aunt and uncle, Freddie and Pat Boyd of Athens; Aunt, Betty Sue Kelley of Athens, and uncle Ronnie Blankenship of Somerville, AL.
