Douglas Keith Sharp, 63 , passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at his residence in Houston, Texas after a battle with cancer. He was born August 16 , 1957 in Morgan County to Arthur Chapman Sharp and Ruth Bradley Sharp.
He retired from Metropolitan Life and was employed by Allstate as a Financial Advisor.
He is survived by his wife, Jean S. Sharp, daughter, Caroline Asbury, her husband, Cameron Asbury, daughter, Morgan Sharp, son, Stuart Sharp and grandson, Elliott Asbury.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Chapman Sharp and Ruth Bradley Sharp, and brother, Larry Sharp.
The family will have a private memorial service on July 24 at Hartselle City Cemetery.
