Mary A. Daniel Wimbley, age 77 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tracy City on April 3, 1944 to the late, Ernest E. and Mildred Elizabeth Sanders Stafford. Mary attended Way of the Cross Church in Winchester, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church in Decherd. She loved to help others and channeled that by becoming a caregiver in the healthcare field. Mary loved to go to yard sales, and spend time with her friends and family. She also greatly enjoyed singing for those that were in the Nursing Home. She had a wonderful sense of humor and would often tell her family “turn it off, there is nothing on” about everything. Mary will be dearly missed by all that knew her or were lucky enough to have met her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John William Daniel; son, John William Daniel Jr.; second husband, Bill Wimbley; brothers, Bob Stafford, Terry Stafford; and sister, Dorthea Stewart. She is survived by her daughters, Earlene (Allen) Doney of Decherd, Loma Daniel of Estill Springs, Ronda (Brian) Durm of Winchester, Lorie (James) Sweeton of Winchester, Angala Summers of Cowan; grandchildren, Jimmy (Kayla) Doney of Decherd, Ashley (Brandon) Prince of Winchester, Jonathan Ray of Winchester, Whitney (Dustin) White of Tullahoma, Lyndsay Durm of Tullahoma, Jason Durm of Murfreesboro, Jason (Cassandra) Sweeton of Winchester, Tyler (Mikayla) Sweeton of Cowan, Autumn Winston of Cowan, Matt Thompson of Nebraska; great grandchildren, Kinzlie Doney, Briley Doney, Jaxen Doney, Lily Prince, Victor Prince, Riley White, Cecilia Sweeton, Jaycee Sweeton, Journey Sweeton; brothers, Albert Stafford of Winchester, Jerry (Bonnie) Stafford of Tullahoma; special caregivers Georgina Hall, Jeanette Steele, Teresa Hall; and a host of nieces and nephews. We want all of our family and friends to be with us at a graveside service, that will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Green Cemetery with Rev. Rudy Wilkerson officiating.
