Funeral service for Horris C. Hudgins, 97, of Hartselle, will be at 2 p.m., Monday, July 19th, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Lawrence’s Cove Cemetery, Rev. James Abbott officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 18th, from 4-6 p.m. and on Monday from 12-2 p.m.

Mr. Hudgins passed away Friday, July 16th, 2021 at Falkville Health & Rehab. He was born December 26, 1923 to George Gilbert & Dora Minnie Moore Hudgins. He was an active member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and he loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Laverne Hudgins; brother, Edward Hudgins, infant brother, J.L. Hudgins; sisters, Peggy McKee, Irene McKee, Christine Kenney.
Survivors include his daughter, Shelia (Larry) Howlett; sister, Josephine Nuby; grandson, Kevin (Sandra) Howlett; great-grandson, Lukas Howlett; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
