Gary Leon Taylor Jr., age 43, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021. He was born in Tullahoma on February 17, 1978 to Dorothy Joyce Bloom Harwell and the late Gary Leon Taylor Sr. Gary was formerly employed as a Brick mason with Jim Jernigan and at CST. In his free time he loved to be out on the lake and to go hunting. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his uncle, Lonnie Taylor; and maternal grandparents, Kester Bloom and Glada Bloom. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Joyce and Dwight Harwell of Winchester; siblings, Christie Taylor of Colorado, Patrick Harwell of Shelbyville, Kala Eakes (Steve Honea) of Flintville; fiancé, Jennifer Dunn of Winchester; his fiancés children, Mahala Dunn, Bubba Dunn; niece, Ashlee (Zach) Conkey; great niece, Everlee Conkey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Minister Roger Beckler officiating. Interment will be held at Taylor cemetery with Eddy Ray Taylor, Patrick Harwell, Thomas Bloom, Mike Beckler, Stephen Beckler, and Zachary Conkey serving as pallbearers.
