Norma Geraldine Coutta, age 86 of Winchester passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Winchester, she was born on May 15, 1935 to the late JB and Ozelle Holman Arnold. She was a devoted homemaker, member of the New Center Grove Church of Christ and a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Geraldine was an avid gardener and would be often found in her greenhouse tending to her flowers and plants. She also raised all kinds of animals and loved to paint. Geraldine was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother that loved with all of her heart and never held a grudge towards anyone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Coutta; siblings, Bud Arnold, Wilburn Arnold; son, Duane Coutta; and step-son, Larry Coutta. She is survived by her children, Tim (Anita) Coutta of Winchester, Becky (Jim) Jacobs of Midway; step-children, Johnny (Jan) Coutta of Gainesville, GA, Jeannie Coutta of El Paso, TX, Phyllis Woodall of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Jenny (Dallas) Felton of Winchester, Jennifer (Alex) Arnold of Murfreesboro, Scott Coutta, Nichole (Blake) Stines, Ashley (Adam) Coutta, Amber-Leigh(Cage) Whittemore, Jerrikka Gifford, Summer Stines, all of Winchester, Dennis (Lori) Jacobs of Midway, Carla (Josh) Green of Midway, Eliza Jacobs of Midway; step-grandsons Micah Coutett, Greg (Amanda) Coutta; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Miles, Parker, Noah, Eli, Caleb, Carmen, Josie; siblings, Carter (Gail) Arnold of Clarksville, Roy (Shelia) Arnold of Brentwood; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Byron Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
