Betty Swindle, 81, of Reagan, passed away Saturday, July 10, in Lexington. Mrs. Swindle was born in Reagan on September 11, 1939, to the late Samuel Guy Hart and Vida Ann Brown Hart. Mrs. Swindle, the widow of the late Herbert Ray Swindle, had previously worked for Columbus McKinnon and Lexington Hospital in Environmental Services.
Mrs. Swindle is survived by a daughter, Sammie Swindle; two grandchildren, Samuel Reeves and Maggie Ann Hart (Cody); and two grandchildren: Sydney Hart and Gracie Hart. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marty Swindle; and three brothers: R.V. Hart, Glenn Hart, and Bill Hart.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at Center Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, July 12, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Pafford Funeral Home, and on Tuesday, July 13, at Center Hill Baptist Church from 12:00 noon until time of the service.
