Graveside services for Ms. Emily Yvonne Nelson, age 85, will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the graveside in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, TN, with Mark White officiating.
Ms. Nelson, a clerk for Exxon, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021, in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Ms. Nelson is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Zula Marie (Bailey) Hatcher; three brothers, Harold, Norman, and Lavaine Hatcher; a brother-in-law, Richard DeMoss; and 2 grandchildren.
Ms. Nelson is survived by two daughters, Barbra Jenkins of Manchester, TN, and Vivian and husband Ed Benefield of Memphis, TN; a son, Bobby Joe and wife Linda Nelson of Atwood, TN; a sister, Veula DeMoss of Livonia, MI; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
