Jenell Burress - Trenton, TNServices to celebrate the life of Jenell McComb Burress, age 85, will be held at 2 pm Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm Saturday, July 10 2021 at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to attend both services.
Hanging on the wall of her simple home on Park Circle is a quote: “The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing.”
Jenell Burress entered her heavenly home on July 8, 2021 and was greeted with the love of her family. After many years of longing, she was finally reunited with her husband of 60 years, Robin Burress; and her two two children, Dana Lynn and Robin Lee.
Jenell loved her family. She loved to cook for family and pray for family. Her life centered around family. Family vacations, family reunions, family dinners, family history, Salem Baptist Church family, extended family, and friends she considered to be family.
Surviving family members are her six grandchildren, Candace (Casey) Ballard, John Pierson, Robin Burress, Christopher Pierson, Lauren (Doug) Howard, and Katie (Andrew) Aldridge. She found joy in showering her nine great grandchild with love, Caleb Ballard, Catelynn Ballard, Brinley Pierson, Lukas Hiett, Savannah Pierson, Finn Pierson, Camden Ballard, Krew Aldridge, and Ashlynn Howard; her two sisters, Ann McComb and Annis Dycus. Jennell was also blessed to be loved and cared for by a devoted niece, Sheila (John) Phillips; and nephew Rick (Sarah) Dunahoo.
Rest in peace grandmom! “God be with you, til we meet again.”
