Louise Burk, age 84, died peacefully at her home in Jackson, TN after a brief illness. She was born in Duckhill, MS the daughter of Clarence and Betty Salley Gilbert. She was a homemaker for most of her life and she enjoyed dancing, raising her children, cooking, playing slot machines, and cherished her family the most.
She is survived by her four sons: Ricky Tacker of Jackson, TN; Randy (Helen) Tacker of Jackson, TN; Milton (Deloris) Tacker of Jackson, TN; and Cary Tacker of Humboldt, TN; four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Russell Tacker, her husband James S. Burk, two sons: Donnie Tacker and Ronnie Tacker, and two grandchildren: Malcolm Tacker and Cheramie Rose Tacker.
SERVICES: The family will be receiving friends on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Arrington Funeral Directors. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Maxwell officiating.
