Hunter Long, 62, of Fort Payne, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born December 25, 1958 to the late Owen and Louise Hunter Long. Hunter was a 25 year member of the Lions Club where he received the Melvin Jones Award.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Valley Head Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Lisa Fischer Long; step-sister Rebecca White; step-brother Maalic Steele and wife Pam; brother-in-law Dale Fischer and wife Brenda; sister-in-law Susan Long; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Long and brother-in-law Dave Fischer.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
