Lois Eloise Dobbs age 91, of Arab passed away Friday July 2, 2021, at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Dobbs was born on January 6, 1930, in DeKalb County, AL the Daughter of Barrett and Bonnie Meadows Ashley. She was married to Richard Van Dobbs who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her Brother: Doyle Allen Ashley; Sister in law: Francis Ashley and Brother in law: Rayford Fowler. She is survived by her Son: Van Allen (Janet) Dobbs of Arab; Daughter: Carol Jean (Randall) Birdsong of Huntsville; Sister: Shelby Fowler of Auburn; Grandchildren: Conner Birdsong (Karla Markley), Wesley (Holly) Birdsong and Joseph (Haleigh) Dobbs; Great Grandchildren: Tait Birdsong, Reagan Dobbs, Asher Joe Birdsong, Avery Dobbs and Danna Alfaro; Host of Nieces, Nephews, other family and friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday July 5, 2021, at 2 PM at Brookwood Cemetery with Rev. Nicky James officiating and Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 12-1:30 PM Monday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
