Mrs. Inez Law Starnes, age 95 of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Dr. Steven Screws officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Friday.
The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to “Nourish One Child” at Scottsboro First United Methodist Church, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or the charity of your choice in her memory.
Mrs. Starnes is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Russell (Hoyt); granddaughters, Jacque Holder and Jennifer Holder Fields (Jason); great grandchildren, Katharine Holder, Jackson Fields, and Jacob Fields; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Joe” Starnes; parents, Ermie & Myrtle Lemons Law; and brothers, John F. Law and Benjamin F. “B.F.” Law.
