Judy Kaye Vassar, 71 of Athens, passed away on June 24th, 2021, at her residence. Mrs. Vassar was born on January 19th, 1950, to Elizabeth Inez Cox Wales and Kelly Wales Jr.
Mrs. Vassar is survived by her husband Donald C. Vassar; son Jason Vassar (Erin); daughter Tye Hutt (Brent); grandchildren Anna Vassar Hutt, Slate Vassar, and Jack Vassar; brother Jerry Wales (Gail); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Sunday June 27th, 2021, from 12:00-1:30 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside services for Mrs. Vassar will be at 2:00pm at Limestone Memorial Garden with Larry White officiating.
Mrs. Vassar loved spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved collecting antiques and watching Bama football. She loved to laugh and have fun with her friends.
