James Augusta Williams was born in Chattanooga TN., to the late Amanda Virginia Williams on April 13, 1946.
He confessed his life to Christ at an early age at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Woodville, AL.
He is survived by his younger sister Judy Anne McCarver, of Scottsboro, AL., a nephew, Robert Wayne Williams (Faye Jordan). A niece, Devida Chanta Douglas all of Scottsboro, AL. Three great nephews, Elijawone Lorelle Douglas, of Huntsville, AL., Samuel Amar Douglas (Kindra Dawson), William DeChawn Douglas of Bridgeport, AL. Three great nieces, Kamari Reece Douglas, Kamdyn Grace Douglas and K’Myiah Blake Douglas of Bridgeport, AL.
He leaves to cherish his memories a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Amanda Virginia Williams and an older sister, Joyce Inez Douglas and two brothers, Jimmy Lee Williams and Thomas Dee Williams.
Graveside Services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, June 28th, 2021 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama with Rev. James Walker Jr. officiating.
