Janice McCreless Green, 74, of Moulton passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home Moulton AL. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Jeff Fleming and Ricky Hood officiating.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Fred Green; two sons, Gregory Scott (Regina)Green, and Fred Lee (Becky) Green; one sister, Judice Retherford; one brother, Billy McCreless; one grandson, Corey Brady (Kristin) Green; two granddaughters, Kaitlin Taylor Green (Wesley Daniel), and Maggie Elizabeth Green (Blake Cook); and one great grandson, Brady Scott Green.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin and Lizzie Idella McCreless; a daughter, Laticha Marie Green; 5 brothers, Clayton McCreless, Vincent McCreless, Virgil McCreless, Vernon McCreless, and Charles McCreless; 4 sisters, Catherine Thrasher, Stella Mae McCreless, Faye Nell Terry, and Betty Fretwell.
Pallbearers will be Corey Green, Kristin Green, Kaitlin Green, Wesley Daniel, Maggie Green, Blake Cook, Morgan Sawyer, Haley Grace Sawyer, Dylan Sawyer, and Brady Green.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff McCreless, Tad Willis Green, Ussery “Buddy” Green, Brian Retherford, Mark Retherford, Jon Retherford, Deacons and the men of Elam Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
The family extends special thanks to the staff of Huntsville Hospital and her special CCU nurse, Kaitlan.
