Shelia Jean Coker, age 70 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at her residence. A native of Franklin County, she was born on October 2, 1950 to the late Howard Coker and Mary Francis Wood. She was employed for over 30 years as a hairdresser and was also a teacher at the Tullahoma Beauty School for about 6 years. In her free time she loved to watch westerns, play pool, and sew when she was able, but her favorite thing was to spend time with her boys and her grandkids. Shelia was a feisty, outspoken, and strong willed lady that will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Coker. She is survived by her children, Nick Hill, Brad Hill both of the Alto Community; grandchildren, Megan Hill Miller, Allie Hill, Dalton Hill; 3 great-granddaughters; sister, Elizabeth Scott of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 11, 2021 in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
