Athens Man Charged With Sexual Assault 1st Degree

ATHENS-On Thursday, June 3 Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect who has been charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree:

“Eric Austin Beshears was arrested Saturday night (May 29)  on a warrant for sexual abuse first degree.

Beshears is accused of touching a 25 year old female inappropriately on May 7, 2021.  

Beshears was booked at the police department and transported to the county jail.”
