Vera B. Cobb, 74, of New Hope, passed away Monday.
Ms. Cobb was a member of Cedar Point Baptist Church. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Vera loved life and everybody in it.
She was preceded in death by father, Charles Tate Davis; mother, Minnie Elizabeth Davis; brother, Dub Davis; sisters, Cordie, Willie, Pauline, Virginia, Letha, and Lillian.
Surviving are Life long friend and former husband, J.W. Cobb; sons, Jonathan (Evelyn) Cobb,and Kenneth (Rhonda) Cobb; daughters, Vickie (Glen) Whitaker, and daughter, Sherri (Wayne) Henry; granddaughter, Tiffany Green; grandson, Joshua Cobb; granddaughter, Julieann Johnson; grandsons, Jordan Cobb, Tyler Cobb, Jonathan “Jonboy” Cobb II, and Jonathan Henry; great grandchildren Brentley, Jayci, Whitley, Ellie, Jaxon, Eli, Roman, Gage, Landon, and Caden; sister, Bertie Young; special friend Jackie Adkins.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Henry, Ray Green, Trent Johnson, JR Harless, Johnny Ray, and Curtis Ivey.
Visitation will be Thursday 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, Thursday at 2:00 PM with Bro. Ed King officiating.
Interment will be in the Zion Rest Cemetery.
