Graveside service for Bunita Lacoula Stokes Morgan, age 84, of Decatur, will be Thursday, June 3, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Rev. Earl Holt officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing
Mrs. Morgan, who died Sunday, May 30, 2021, at her residence, was born January 9, 1937, in Lawrence County, to Alfred Stokes and Kerena Steadman Stokes. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Del Morgan, and her parents. She worked in food services for Decatur High School.
She is survived by one son, William Charles Morgan (Lori) of Trinity; one daughter, Kellie Morgan Adelberg of Birmingham; two sisters, Alpha Wallace of Priceville, and Lockie Woodard of Moulton; three grandchildren, Dr. William J. Morgan of Morgantown, WV, Nicholas Ryan Morgan (Kayla) of Las Vegas, NV, and Jackson Tyler Adelberg, serving in the U. S. Air Force; and her beloved dog, Lilly.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
