Harvey John White Jr, 54 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Harvey was born in Boston Massachusetts to Harvey John White Sr and Carol Ann White.
Harvey is survived by his wife Deana Sammet White; son Holden White; daughters Hayley White and Jordan White; Stepchildren Heather Bevel (Chris) and Derrick Owen (Kelsey); Grandchildren Gary Boyd, Christopher Bevel, Caleb Bevel, Hunter Owen, Levi Owen, and Korri Owen; sister Teresa White; niece Elizabeth White; grandmother Midge Cox; aunt Beth Cox; uncle Kenny Cox; numerous cousins, and a lifetime of friends.
Harvey was preceded in death by his mother Carol Ann White of Jacksonville, FL, His father Harvey John White Sr, and his grandfather, Eugene Cox of Lakeland, FL.
Funeral services for Harvey will be Monday, May 24th, 2021 at 11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Patrick Cooley officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm on Sunday, May 23rd at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bottoms Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Holden White, Derrick Owen, Dan Prabhu, Chris Bevel, Lynn Long, and Chris Roper.
Harvey was a dedicated Nurse Anesthetist; was passionate about gardening, cooking for his loved ones, fishing, and Auburn football. He loved with all his heart and he would do anything he could if he thought it was needed. Harvey will live forever in his family’s hearts. Never forgotten.
