William Phillip Street William Phillip “Phil” Street, age 72 of Estill Springs passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Harton Medical Center. He was born on March 21, 1949 in Lewisburg, TN to the late Ed and Auline Street. Phil was a 1968 graduate of Franklin County High School. After graduation, he proudly served as a machinist mate in the US Navy aboard the USS Moale Destroyer. In addition to being a veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a machinist and Master Mason. Phil held diplomas in drafting and CNC machinery. He was a good Christian man and member of the Baptist Church. He was a man of many talents and enjoyed working with his hands, fishing, cars, woodworking and spending time with family. He loved his family above all else and they dearly loved him. He will always be remembered as an incredibly generous, kind-hearted, and fun-loving man. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janice; son, Michael Street; daughter, Erin and son-in-law Brian Cochran; sisters, Gwen and Jimmy Brown, Mary Ann and Jerry Smith; brothers, Ray and Alice Street, Steve and Sandra Street; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Ray Gardner officiating.
