Connie Clay Davis, 63, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, May 20.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Debbie; and their four children, Nathan, Natalie, Cynthia, and Dewayne. He is also survived by his grandchildren and bonus grandchildren: Leigh-Anna Davis, Adrie-Ana Davis, Cescily Wilson, Cooper Wilson, Chris (Katie) Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Wade Wilson, and Tate Brewer. Connie is survived by one brother, Steve (Kaye) Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews. Connie is preceded in death by his father, Vernon (Bud) Davis; mother, Vera Davis; and his father-in-law, James Cooper.
Connie leaves behind a legacy of family, friends, and neighbors that love him dearly. He was always a helping hand to everyone he knew and many more he didn’t even know.
The visitation will be held Saturday, May 22 from 5 p.m.to 8 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at Huntsville Holiness Church, where he was a faithful member for 40 years, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 23. Reverend Patrick Price, Brother Nick West, and Reverend Ray Davis (Connie’s uncle) will be officiating.
His body will be laid to rest at Green Valley Cemetery. His soul is in Heaven for eternity with Jesus Christ.
