Spencer Martin Michael, 89, of Lexington, AL, passed away May 18, 2021 at NAMC. Spencer was a retired long time employee of A.L. Thompson’s Builders Supply, where he was a concrete driver and lumber yard worker. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Spencer is survived by: Son: Marty Michael (Martha) Daughter: Teresa Smith (Jeff) Grandchildren: Stephanie Laster (A.J.), Samantha Hardiman (Jonathan), Katelyn Truitt (Jakob), & Emily Steen (Daniel) (7) Great-grandchildren and (9) Great-great-grandchildren Brothers: Otis Michael, Jessie Michael, Tollie Michael, Edward Michael, and Roy Michael Sisters: Dessie Lanier, Pearlene Bailey, Earlene Davis, Clayton Miller, Tolliese Robertson, and Doris Wise He was preceded in death by: Wife: Nola Lash Michael Parents: Lloyd Michael and Ethel Michael Brother: Wayne Michael Visitation will be Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Ethan Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Pettus Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hardiman, Jakob Truitt, Anthony Laster, Daniel Steen, Randy Michael, and Timmy Gibson. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
