Delores Stout Likos of Huntsville, Alabama, died peacefully in her home at age 76 on May 16,2021. Delores leaves an exemplary life of experiences and memories for all who knew and loved her. She grew up in Gadsden, Alabama, had a passion for music, friends and family, and loved Jesus Christ with all her heart. Delores married Jimmy Likos, the love of her life, and was the mother to two wonderful children.
Delores Stout Likos of Huntsville, Alabama, died peacefully in her home at age 76 on May 16,2021. Delores leaves an exemplary life of experiences and memories for all who knew and loved her. She grew up in Gadsden, Alabama, had a passion for music, friends and family, and loved Jesus Christ with all her heart. Delores married Jimmy Likos, the love of her life, and was the mother to two wonderful children.Delores’ children and grandchildren have deep gratitude, love and admiration for her. Her life of support, wisdom and generosity live on through them and will nurture generations to come.
Delores is survived by daughter, Michelle Kelly (Kevin) and son James Likos (Melanie); and four grandchildren, Sarah Taite Kelly, Cece Kelly, Kenlee Likos, and Parker Likos.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lula Stout, sister Hazel Slone, brothers Herb Stout, Dale Stout, Jim Stout, Sam Stout, and Howard Stout, her husband Jimmy Likos, and her oldest grandchild, Davis Kelly.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Westminster Presbyterian Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m, service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Hammond officiating, and a reception after the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will
follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Gifts in lieu flowers can be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Special acknowledgement is extended to Angela Boyd, Ann Streeter, and the wonderful parishioners, friends and clergy at Westminster Presbyterian, who surrounded Delores with care, compassion and love over the past several years.
