Funeral service for Tom Ricks, 75, will be Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wendell White and Bro. Lynn Harvel officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Ricks died on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  He was born September 20, 1945, in Morgan County to Charlie Edward Ricks and Jimmie Hattie Henley Ricks.  Mr. Ricks was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Ricks retired from 3M with 33 years of service and also retired from Weister Security. He was a member of Straight Gospel Missionary Baptist Church for 20 years. Tom was a locksmith and enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved woodworking. Mr. Ricks served our Country with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and a proud supporter of all Veteran’s. Tom was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

His Wife of 40 years – Margaret Ricks, Hartselle, AL

Son – James Norris (Ivy), Madison, AL

Two Daughters – Sabrina Johnson (Clyde), Hartselle, AL
Vicky McCollum (Shane), Moulton, AL

Three Siblings:
Brother – Paul Ricks (Sandra)

Sisters – Louise and Shirley

Nine Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Dalton Boyd, Isaac Griswold, Robert Ricks, Cody Walker, Paul Galloway, Brian Monk. Gary Walker  and Cliff Fowler
