Louise Buck, age 74, passed from her earthly home Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
She was born in Corinth, MS on December 4, 1946, the daughter of John Clifton and Mildred L Baker Kirk. Louise spent her working career in the medical field, most recently in medical records with TranSouth before retirement. She was a member of South Jackson Church of Christ, who enjoyed worshipping with her church family. Working in her flower beds and looking for a bargain were two of her favorite things to do. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and Nana.
She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Buck of Jackson, TN; and a daughter, Christy L Hatcher (Bruce) and their son Nathan of Cordova, TN.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Steven Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Paul Hatcher, Tom Buck, Mark Jones, Dwayne Buck, Charlie Richardson and Bobby Richardson.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 771557, Memphis, TN 38177 or to the local VVA # 995 c/o Honor Guard, 2658 Mary Key Drive, Humboldt, TN 38343.
