Ricky Hodge, age 62 a long-time resident of Mt. Pleasant passed away on May 7, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Ricky was born on April 1, 1959, to the late Henry Hodge and his mother Imogene Taylor Hodge who survives him in Mt. Pleasant, TN. Ricky was proud of being a Mt. Pleasant native. He was an avid wrestling fan, who loved music especially singing that “Old Time Rock and Roll.” He was a gifted machinist who spent many years working for Custom Steel. Besides working on machines he spent time making custom swords, tools and working on go-carts.
Services for Ricky will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, beginning at 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Randy McNeese will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am the same day until service time. Entombment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Ricky is survived by his two daughters: Cassie (Justin) Stephens of Homestead, FL and Crystal (Joe) Montanez of Crystal River, FL; son: Donald Hodge of Columbia, TN; sisters: Debra (Randy) Nance of Mt. Pleasant and Trina (Ronnie) Marshall; brother: Christopher (Kim Ditty) Hodge; grandchildren: Jasmine Hodge, Payton Pritchett, Jackson Pritchett, Christian Walsh, Lily Montanez, Luna Montanez, Zachary Staves, Hannah Staves, Gracie Staves, and Gabriel Stephens.
He is preceded in death by his father: Henry Hodge; brother: Danny Hodge; sister: Sherri Hodge.
