George Edgar Cole III, age 51 of Winchester passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford. He was born in Cullman, Al on July 29, 1969 to George Edgar Cole II and the late Diana Lynn Bush Mitchell. He was employed for 16 years as a painter and in his free time he loved to work with his hands and build different items. He also loved to spend time grilling, working on cars and lawnmowers, collecting hats, and going to auctions. George was a loving and caring man that loved his family more than anything. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Della Cook; aunts, Lorene Rackley, Helen Harrell; and uncle, Jonathan Harrell. He is survived by his wife, LeeAnn Hillis of Winchester; daughters, Hope Bailey, Montana Hillis, Mercedes Hillis; father, George (Cindy) Cole II; sister, Heather Turner; nephews and nieces, Dakota (Hannah) Turner, Nick (Brittney) Turner, Kevin Turner; great nephew, Brylan; cousins, Tim Rackley, Jonathan “Porky” Harrell, Randall Harrell; and a host of other great nephews, great nieces, and cousins.
