Walter Charles Doerflinger (Chuck), age 71 of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born in Cleveland, OH, he was a long-time resident of Lawrenceburg, TN. A graduate of Emory Law School; he was a well-respected attorney and the City Judge of Loretto for over 45 years. He gave back to others by serving his community as a county commissioner, President of the Chamber of Commerce, President of MainStreet Lawrenceburg, and a board member for numerous other community organizations. He was a devoted and adoring father and grandfather who took great pride in his family and loved supporting and celebrating their endeavors and accomplishments. He enjoyed following NASCAR and Skip Barber racing, was a fabulous cook, loved history and found joy serving the Lord at Faith Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Wally Doerflinger and his mother Eleanor Doerflinger. He is survived by his daughter Ashley Fogal (Rich) of New Tripoli, PA; his son Chase Doerflinger (Monica) of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren Attie, Emma, Carly, Jed, Asa and Zadie Mae Fogal of New Tripoli, PA and Vivian Doerflinger of Austin, TX; his brothers Mike Doerflinger (Rhonda) of Lawrenceburg and Joe Doerflinger of Florence, AL; his sisters Loretta Davis of Florence, AL and Tina Doerflinger of Lawrenceburg. He had several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Doerflinger and Fogal families would like to express their sincere appreciation to the community for the many friendships and memories you provided him over the years.
